The Superfloor is a shared destination that spans level one across the Melbourne Connect precinct, connecting all buildings and creating a collaborative layer for events, learning and informal exchange.

Designed as a flexible platform for connection, the Superfloor accommodates meeting rooms, event spaces, a café and a series of open and enclosed zones including the Forum, Launch Pad and Studio. These spaces support a wide range of uses from formal presentations and workshops to exhibitions, prototyping and daily activation.

Semaphore developed a bespoke wayfinding and signage system for the Superfloor that supports clarity, adaptability and placemaking within this high activity environment. The signage language was conceived as a testing ground for the wider precinct system, using modular formats and illuminated elements to clearly identify key destinations and support intuitive movement.
