Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, East Melbourne

Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership is a new Australian-first program of advanced professional learning for high-performing teachers.

At the East Melbourne site, we created a 3D serif typeface in homage to the site’s historical significance as Victoria’s first official printing office. Individual bronze lettering draws reference from the printing machinery and process, linking the building’s past to its future as a place for knowledge transfer.

The signage seamlessly integrates within the space across the modern architecture of the upper levels, Level 1 & 2 as well as heritage elements on Ground.
