Hobart’s MyState Bank Arena (the former Derwent Entertainment Centre) now hosts major concerts, live performances and is the new home of the Tasmanian JackJumpers.

The linearity of our sign forms reference the timber battens featured in the arena’s foyer spaces. This strong design gesture was balanced with the arena’s functional requirements to create a distinctive and robust wayfinding system.

The colour strategy, which drew inspiration from the surrounding built form, provides excellent visual contrast and legibility to the wayfinding system.
